Computex 2003: fervono i preparativi
I problemi legati all'epidemia SARS sono completamente superati e il Computex, la più importante fiera informatica dell'Asia, aprirà i battenti il prossimo 22 Settembre

Computex era originariamente previsto per la prima settimana del mese di Giugno, ma i ben noti problemi legati all'epidemia di SARS hanno costretto gli organizzatori a posticipare l'evento, così da garantire la partecipazione in piena sicurezza di visitatori esteri.
Lo scorso 5 Luglio Taiwan è stata ufficialmente dichiarata esente dal virus SARS dal World Health Organization (WHO), dopo che per 20 giorni (periodo doppio rispetto al tempo d'incubazione medio della SARS), non sono stati segnalati nuovi casi d'infezione.
Computex è storicamente l'occasione nella quale numerose novità del settore vengono introdotte, oltre che vetrina per i produttori taiwanesi per mostrare al pubblico internazionale i propri prodotti e le linee produttive. Per la stampa Computex rappresenta un momento molto importante, in quanto permette d'incontrare di persona i produttori taiwanesi oltre che di ricuperare varie informazioni sul mercato e sui trend in divenire.
Anche se la notizia non è stata ancora ufficialmente confermata, è prevedibile che proprio il 22 Settembre, giorno dell'inaugurazione del Computex, AMD presenti ufficialmente il nuovo processore Athlon 64, soluzione desktop a lungo attesa basata su architettura x86-64. Oltre a questo, comunque, tutti i produttori taiwanesi sia di chipset che di schede madri presenteranno nuovi modelli, in previsione di una stagione natalizia che tutti gli operatori del settore auspicano essere ricca.

Inoltre che ci sia il vaccino non è suff. affichè un virus sia debellato, vedi ad esempio il vaiolo che recentemente è ricomparso in Africa.
Cmq se non vuoi venire in pullman con noi perchè hai paura...

Azz .. nn avevo nemmeno preso in considerazione l'ipotesi di unirmi alla cordata .. è che mi sta a cuore la salute dello staff di hwupgrade
